Oil & Gas Logistics

Specialist Freight for the Oil & Gas Industry

The oil and gas sector demands freight solutions that combine technical engineering expertise with world-class dangerous goods compliance. From importing drilling equipment into Nigeria to moving pipeline materials from China to West Africa, from shipping chemicals and reagents to managing emergency rig spares — every movement in the oil and gas supply chain has zero tolerance for error. Marwest LLC provides DG-certified freight solutions for upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas clients.

Key Challenges

Logistics Obstacles in This Sector

HAZMAT Compliance

Oil and gas freight routinely involves Class 2 (gases), Class 3 (flammables), Class 6 (toxic), and Class 8 (corrosives) dangerous goods. IMO/IMDG compliance is non-negotiable.

Remote Logistics

Oilfields and offshore platforms are often in the most challenging logistics environments — remote locations with limited port infrastructure and specialist vehicle requirements.

Emergency Response

A broken BOP or failed pressure relief valve can halt production. Our emergency air freight capability puts critical spares on aircraft within hours of receiving instructions.
